The prestigious TIME 100 Impact Award 2022 went to Alia Bhatt in recognition of her impressive work and on-screen performances. At the awards ceremony, the actor took the stage and delivered a simple yet powerful message while beaming in a glittering bronze gown.

In a video shared by a fan account, Alia said: “I am extremely proud to be here tonight as the representative of my country. A country that has built both me and my career. India is a country whose core value is diversity above all else. And finally, when it comes to making an impact, I hope I can continue to do that in whatever way I can. But for tonight, this award has really impressed me and my little one who has relentlessly guided me through this speech kicked.”
