Siddi Tribe of African origin, who came to India 850 years ago, performed their cultural dance form at the National Tribal Dance Festival in Raipur. Chhattisgarh celebrated its 23rd State Foundation Day on November 1, 2022, and as part of the celebrations, Raipur hosted the 3rd National Tribal Dance Festival. The National Tribal Dance Festival was celebrated from November 1-3, 2022. More than 1,500 tribal artists from India and ten other countries, including Mozambique, Mongolia, Tongo, Russia, Indonesia, Maldives, Serbia, New Zealand and Egypt, will perform at the event.
