Yash Singh’s daily commute to his workplace makes for a curious sight. As the 20-year-old rides his motorcycle through the busy side streets of Udaipur, an armed police officer sits on top of the passenger, his watchful eyes constantly scanning the area. Behind them, on another bike, his 18-year-old brother Tarun stares at them. He is also accompanied by an officer. Being in the constant company of the police takes some getting used to for Tarun and Yash. Their house now resembles a fortress as police officers are standing in front of their gate around the clock. Yashoda, their mother, hardly ever goes out.
