Interior Minister Amit Shah prayed at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra on Tuesday morning. The Interior Minister reached the Katra Shrine through the Sanjhichatt helipad. He was accompanied by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Union Minister Jitendra Singh. This is Shah’s first visit to the sacred cave sanctuary after being appointed as the Union’s Home Secretary. His visit coincides with the ninth day of the ongoing Navratri festival.
