The Light Combat Helicopter is the only combat helicopter in the world that can land and take off at an altitude of 5,000 metres, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Director (Finance) CB Ananthakrishnan said on the occasion of the first LCHs enlisted in the Indian Air Force on Oct. 3. “LCH is native and state-of-the-art, one of the best combat flying machines in the world. LCH is the only attack helicopter in the world that can land and take off at an altitude of 5,000 meters,” he said.
