NEET UG Counseling Schedule Released On mcc.nic.in, Registration Begins October 11

Medical Counseling Committee, MCC has released the counseling scheme for admission to medical colleges across India based on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2022 score.

According to the released schedule, the first registrations for the NEET UG Counseling 2022 will start on October 11 for All India Quota and for Presumed and Central Institutes. The registration process starts on October 11. The state counseling process will begin on October 17. The academic session for UG courses starts on 15 November. Candidates can check the schedule on the official website – mcc.nic.in.

NEET UG 2022 Counseling: Important Dates

Registrations and payment: 11 to 17 October 2022 until 11 p.m.

Fill and close your choice: 14 to 18 October 2022 until 23:55

Verification of internal candidates: October 17 to 18, 2022.

Processing seat assignment: October 19 to 20, 2022.

Round 1 Result – Seat Assignment: October 21, 2022.

Reporting and participation: October 22 to 28, 2022.

Round 2 starts: November 2, 2022.

NEET UG 2022 Counseling: Registration and Choice Filling Process

Step 1: Visit mcc.nic.in website and click on “new registration” tab.

Step 2: Fill in the details like NEET role number, registration number, date of birth and other required information

Step 3: Pay the NEET UG 2022 Counseling Registration Fee

Step 4: Fill in the course of your choice and list the colleges according to preference

Step 5: Candidates should note that there is no limit to the number of choices that can be filled

Step 6: Candidates must record the choices within the stated dates. The choices are automatically locked on the last date if a candidate does not.

In a pattern similar to last year, MCC will conduct the NEET UG counseling in four rounds: round 1, round 2, cleanup round and stray vacancy. NEET UG counseling is conducted for admissions through the 15 percent All India Quota, AIQ seats available in government medical colleges, which are considered Universities, Central Universities, ESIC and AFMS Institutes for the session from 2022 to 2023 .
