To pray for her mother’s health and a happy married life, Rakhi Khwaja visited Gharib Nawaz Dargah Sharif. She bought phoolon ki chadar and itr (incense sticks) as part of her offering to god.
Rakhi said, “I am recently married to Adil Khan Durrani. For the first time, I want to offer chadar in the Garib Nawaz Dargah. I hope my prayers are accepted by God. I hope my mother recovers soon and I have a happy married life. Meri dua qubool ho toh mein yeh chadar, phool sab pesh kar rahi hun.”
Earlier this month, Rakhi revealed that she was married to Adil Khan Durrani. She shared photos and videos from their court wedding and a nika that took place in July last year. Although Adil was in denial earlier, he later confirmed that the two are married.
Recently, Rakhi was also detained by the Mumbai Police in connection with the FIR filed against her by actress Sherlyn Chopra. The model in her complaint alleged that Rakhi was spreading inappropriate videos and photos of her.
On Tuesday (January 24), the Bombay High Court ordered the Mumbai Police to continue the relief of ‘no coercive measures’ against Rakhi until February 1, according to ANI. This was due to her mother’s poor health.
