Imprisoned mobster Lawrence Bishnoi’s aide Deepak Tinu, one of the main suspects in the murder of Punjabi singer and congressional leader Sidhu Moose Wala, escaped from custody in Mansa district. Tinu managed to dump Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) officials when he was taken from Kapurthala prison to Mansa in a private vehicle on the night of October 1.
