Delhi Prime Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Monday that there is a huge craze for the Aam Aadmi Party among women and youth in Gujarat as it pledges to tackle inflation and unemployment, claiming that the AAP has lost more than 92 out of a total of 182 will win seats in Gujarat next month Assembly polls.
After interacting with diamond traders in Surat, Kejriwal expressed confidence that they will vote for AAP, even though they do not openly say so “because of the fear of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)”.
“All our surveys show that we are way ahead of the BJP in terms of supporting youth and women. I appeal to them to ask all their family members to vote for AAP. The AAP forms the next cabinet. We will win more than 92 seats,” he told reporters.
The campaign for the first phase of the Gujarat parliamentary elections, scheduled for December 1, ends on November 29. The ballot box for the second and final phase will take place on December 5 and the votes will be counted on December 8.
“Inflation and unemployment are the two biggest problems people face, and we provide time-bound solutions to these problems. No other party talks about the problems that concern the people,” he said.
“There is a huge craze for AAP among women and youth because we are getting magical results in our research within these two sections. I would like to ask them to sweep every vote of your family (the election symbol of AAP),” said the AAP national convener.
He said that the people of Gujarat do not like him, state AAP president Gopal Italia or chief ministerial face Isudan Gadhvi, but expressed support as they think AAP can solve their problems and it delivered in Delhi and Punjab.
“Women vote for us because for the first time a party (AAP) has come up with an insurance policy to give them relief from inflation,” added Kejriwal.
He claimed that women are becoming supporters of AAP because the party has promised that the electricity bill will be waived and also assured that private schools should not increase fees for the next five years as has been done in Delhi, in addition to providing free and quality education and health care households will help. save money.
Young people support the party as AAP pledged to stop leaking exam questions and take action against the culprits and insurance for job creation and Rs 3,000 unemployment benefit, he said.
He said AAP will win more than 7-8 seats in Surat, a BJP bastion.
Italy, Gadhvi and other candidates, including Alpesh Kathiriya from Varachha (surat city), win by a huge margin, the AAP leader said.
Kejriwal claimed that traders feel “threatened, abused, insulted and subject to extortion” in the BJP rule.
“I told them you made money, but what’s the point of money if you don’t get respect? If a little worker can call you and abuse you, what’s the point of such a life?’ “This is an opportunity to jettison the entire system. and respect. Every trader is with the AAP,” he claimed.
