AAP Wins Over 230 Out of 250 Seats in Delhi MCD Polls: Raghav Chaddha

AAP leader Raghav Chadha claimed on Sunday that his party will win more than 230 out of 250 seats in the upcoming Delhi MCD poll.

“The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is going to win the MCD elections by a huge margin. People are happy that there is finally a chance to kick this corrupt BJP out of the municipal corporations,” he said at a padayatra celebration in Keshavpuram.

Chaddha rallied support for the Arvind Kejriwal-led party and held a series of public events in the city.

He said now is the time to have an AAP government at both the state and municipal levels.

“The choice for the public is very clear. They have to choose between Kejriwal’s “10 Guarantees” that will help clean the city, pay salaries to safai karamcharis on time and so on, and the BJP’s “10 Fake Videos”.

“We will leave it to the people to decide who they want to vote for… I am sure that this time the AAP will have a big win in the MCD, taking at least 230 out of 250 seats,” he claimed .

The AAP held outreach campaigns in more than 160 areas of Delhi on Sunday under its MCD election bid. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Delhi Secretary of State Gopal Rai, Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Gupta, MLAs Atishi, Durgesh Pathak and Dilip Pandey, and senior party leader Mahabal Mishra along with other party campaigners participated in the ‘jansamvad’. “… it is proven that Arvind Kejriwal will be the first choice of the people in the MCD poll. If you ask the public about AAP’s work, they can easily tell you 10 projects, but if you take the name of BJP, they don’t remember any project,” said an AAP leader.

The party is holding mass dialogues, ‘nukkad sabhas’, padyatras and door-to-door visits in the national capital ahead of the civil society body polls on December 4.
