With the name of his deputy Manish Sisodia not mentioned on the CBI charge sheet in the excise case, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Saturday that he and the AAP are “hardcore honest”.
During a press conference, Kejriwal also asked the BJP if he could say the same about one of its leaders.
The Central Bureau of Investigation filed its first indictment in the Delhi excise case against seven suspects on Friday, but Sisodia, who was named in the bureau’s FIR, was not included.
“Today I can say, Arvind Kejriwal is hardcore honest, AAP is hardcore honest. I challenge the BJP to tell if any of its party leaders are hardcore honest,” Kejriwal said.
Asked about the BJP releasing a series of sting videos on AAP leaders ahead of the December 4 municipal polls in Delhi, the chief minister said voters must choose between 10 videos from the BJP or 10 assurances from his party.
Earlier this month, the Aam Aadmi party had announced 10 guarantees to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi polls, including cleaning up the city’s three landfills and ending the threat of stray animals.
