During SP’s Govt in Uttar Pradesh, criminals were ‘mini Chief Ministers’ in districts: Brajesh Pathak

Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, has alleged that during the tenure of the previous government of the Samajwadi Party in the state, criminals were operating in every district as “Mini Chief Ministers”.

But as soon as the BJP came to power, action was taken against criminals, leading them to jail or flee the state, said the BJP leader, addressing assemblies in Kusmara and Karhal while campaigning for the Mainpuri bypoll of the side. candidate Raghuraj Singh Shakya on Friday.

The poll for the parliamentary seat in Mainpuri, scheduled for December 5, was called for after the death of Mulayam Singh Yadav, founder of the Samajwadi Party (SP). The SP had expelled party leader Akhilesh Yadav’s wife, Dimple Yadav.

During the SP government, criminals enjoyed political protection and using slogans such as ‘khali plot hamara hai’, they had become ‘mini chief ministers in every district’, Pathak said.

This time, the people of Mainpuri are not going to vote for a family, but for development by the BJP governments in the center and in the state, he said. Pathak said that from Akhilesh Yadav to his entire family, they should hold street rallies to get votes from those they neglected during their rule.

This clearly shows that the SP has lost its foothold and the uncle and cousin may have united today, but they cannot defeat the BJP, he said, apparently referring to the uncle of Akhilesh Yadav and Shivpal Singh Yadav, leader of the Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia). .
