The 74-year-old RJD chairman, who suffers from multiple health problems, was advised a kidney transplant.

Prasad, a convict in many animal feed scams who has been released on bail, needs court approval to go abroad.
He was in Singapore last month to undergo preliminary examinations into his chronic kidney problems, but had to return on October 24, a day before the expiry of the period set by a CBI court in Delhi for his stay outside India.
