Swashbuckling India wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant turns 25 | Cricket News

NEW DELHI: India’s wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant, who has made a name for himself with his batting feats, celebrates his 25th birthday Today.
Following his international debut in 2017, Pant has cemented his place in the Indian team across all three formats with some scintillating bat performances, led by his famous knock to win the Gabba test during India’s 2020 Australia tour.
Teammates and fans lined up on social media on Tuesday to wish Pant a happy birthday.
Virat Kohli posted a story on his Instagram account to send Pant his wishes. Kohli and Pant are both from Delhi.

“Happy Birthday Rishabh Pant. Have fun. God bless,” Kohli’s Instagram story read.
Pant, who has been included in the Indian roster for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia, has so far competed in 31 tests, 27 ODIs and 61 T20Is, with 2123, 840 and 934 runs respectively.
He has scored six international tons in his short career so far, including five in Tests and one in the 50-over format. He has also scored 10 half-centuries in Tests, five in ODIs and three in T20Is.
Former and current cricketers, in addition to fans, joined Kohli to send Pant their best wishes.
