Sonali Phogat Murder Case: CBI Likely To Take Statement Of Two Lead Suspects On Day 3 Of Investigation | News

On day 3 of the CBI investigation into the Sonali Phogat murder case, the investigative agency is likely to include statements from 2 main defendants in the case – Sudhir Sangwan & Sukhwinder Singh. The CBI on Saturday finalized its takeover of the Sonali Phogat case from Goa Police and will conduct further investigations, DGP Jaspal Singh said on Saturday. The Goa police handed over the case papers, police diary, witness statements and suspects, all of which span over 500 pages. Local police also handed over CCTV footage and documents collected in Haryana, including personal diaries and other exhibits.
