Construction of Clock Tower of Ghanta Ghar is well underway in Anantnag district of South Kashmir. It is being built under devolutionary subsidies with an estimated cost of Rs 40 lakhs. The aim is to make this tower attractive to tourists visiting the Kashmir Valley. The bell tower will be 30 feet tall and square in shape with a width of 7.5 feet. The rotating under the tower will be made in Devri stone with a diameter of 15 feet.
