Ashok Gehlot has opted out of the congressional presidential election. Now Digvijay Singh is in the running for the top post of the lot. Ashok Gehlot met Sonia Gandhi in the afternoon and apologized for the uprising of party MLAs. After the meeting, Ashok Gehlot said that Sonia Gandhi will decide whether to remain CM of Rajasthan or someone else to take over the reins of the state. Shashi Tharoor is also expected to submit his nomination on September 30 to run for the party presidential election.
