Final stage of Congs Bharat Jodo Yatra in Kerala begins, to enter Tamil Nadu in the afternoon

Joined by a huge crowd of supporters, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi kicked off the final phase of the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Kerala on Thursday morning. The foot march – which resumed here from Marthoma College Junction in Chungathara – was to take a break at CKHS Manimooly in Vazhikadavu after covering approximately 8.6 km.

According to the yatra’s itinerary, Gandhi would travel by car from Vazhikadavu to the Government Arts and Science College at Gudalur in Tamil Nadu.

The march was to resume from the Government Arts and Science College in Gudalur around 5:00 PM and stop for the day at Gudalur bus stop after covering about 5.5 km.

Congressional Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Kerala in the evening of September 10 and passed through the state for 18 days. The 3,570 km long 150-day foot march started on September 7 from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu and will end in Jammu and Kashmir.
