Union Cabinet has approved Indian Railways proposal for the redevelopment of three major railway stations – New Delhi, Ahmedabad and Mumbai CST. The project involves an investment of approximately Rs 10,000 crores. New Delhi Railway Station will integrate train services with bus, car and metro train services. The New Delhi Railway Station is being redeveloped over a span of approximately 2 to 3.5 years.
