Secretary of State S Jaishankar on Wednesday assured the US government of all necessary assistance in resolving visa issues. He went on to say that things will get better soon. “But again, I feel like this is an issue where it’s clearly primarily for the US, but we’ll be supportive and collaborative,” Jaishankar told ANI in response to a question about people dealing with visa issues. He added: “To the people concerned about the visa issues, I want to send the message that I understand their concern and the urgency and that is exactly why I took up the matter”, Blinken suggested that India help the US deal with the situation in a better way.
