Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the Bulk Drug Park and Una-Hamirpur railway project in Una, Himachal Pradesh, on Oct. 13. Addressing the people, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said: “I am happy to donate thousands of crores of rupees to Himachal before Dhanteras and Diwali. The festival of Diwali has come early for Una and Himachal Pradesh.” He added: “Today I marked the inaugural ride of the new Vande Bharat train. This is the fourth Vande Bharat train to be introduced in the country. The previous governments in Himachal and those in Delhi also stayed. indifferent in meeting the needs of your people. He could never understand your hopes and aspirations. I remember Himachal’s condition,” he said. “Progress in digital infrastructure has always been the top priority of the government. New India is overcoming the challenges of the past and growing rapidly,” he added.
