Assam Special DGP GP Singh announced on October 31 in Guwahati that authorities have returned 3 Swedish nationals who participated in religious practices to their motherland. “Earlier, we received information that few Christian missionaries sent people to tea gardens and tribal areas. So we alerted intelligence. 3 Swedish citizens who took part in religious practices were detained and deported to the motherland,” said GP Singh. “We also received information about German citizens in some federal states and alerted agents. The police found them in Barpeta. SP Golaghat issued orders to restrict their movement,” he added.
