Pro Kabaddi League: Akash Shinde, Mohit Goyat’s Heroic Hand Puneri Paltan Wins | Pro-Kabaddi-League News

PUN: Puneri Paltan put down a clinical performance to register a 43-38 win Dabang Delhi in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) here on Tuesday.
Akash Shinde and Mohit Goyat both got 13 points in a fine outing, while Fazel Atrachali’s defense saw the home side condemn Delhi to a fifth loss in a row.
After swapping out a few empty raids, Goyat rallied the crowd, with a super raid to take out Krishan, Anil Kumar and Vijay Kumar, giving the Paltans the lead.
That single foray set the tone for a majority of the half, as Paltan rioted against a defense in Delhi that had little confidence. The first all-out came in the first five minutes when the Pune side extended their lead to 10-3.
Despite a slowly building resistance in Delhi, Paltans pulled out all the stops for a second to gain a massive lead.
Dabang Delhi didn’t look like much. But slowly they scrambled back as Naveen Kumar found his feet to catch Fazel Atrachali and Gaurav Khatri to bring them back into the game.
They went into half-time trailing 23-17, but with only two Pune players left on the mat.
Akash Shinde’s super attack on Anil Kumar, Vijay Kumar and Ravi Kumar returned the initiative for Pune.
