A 25-year-old man, who was let go as part of Elon Musk’s massive layoffs after the Tesla CEO took over Twitter, has shared a healthy post on social media.
A 25-year-old man has proven that getting fired doesn’t always have to end on bitter terms after being fired as part of Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s massive layoffs following his takeover of the microblogging site.
On Friday, after being fired from his job, 25-year-old Yash Agarwal took to his Twitter handle and posted a happy photo showing two pillows with the Twitter logo on them.
“I just got fired. Bird App, it was an absolute honor, the greatest privilege ever to be part of this team, this culture. #LoveWhereYouWorked #LoveTwitter,” the caption read.
Yash’s post immediately went viral on social media, with users appreciating his positivity and cheering him up with their kind words. One person wrote: “There is so much in store for you! You are meant for great things. Moving on.”
Another shared: “Absolutely a great way to say goodbye!! With this attitude you are always a winner.” A third user wrote: “This positive outlook on life is rare to see. I wish you unparalleled success and happiness in all that you do! Best wishes for your future endeavors!”

Meanwhile, earlier today, according to an unsigned internal memo from The Verge, Twitter employees were notified in the email that the layoffs would begin. Musk is expected to cut about half of Twitter’s roughly 7,500 employees.
The entrepreneur’s $44 billion purchase of Twitter was completed last week, and on the same day he fired several of the company’s top leaders, including CEO Parag Agrawal.
Musk had already indicated he would be cutting jobs from Twitter and told employees at a town hall meeting this summer that there should be “a workforce rationalization” on the social network.
