The first teaser of Darshana Rajendran and Basil Joseph’s up-and-coming family entertainer Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey is out. The promo offers a glimpse of what to expect from this story about a young woman and her ambitions.
Darshana plays a young woman in her twenties named Jaya, who marries Basil’s character. Her intention to continue and complete her education doesn’t seem to sit well with her partner at first, as he mockingly asks her to try for the Public Service Commission exams.
Soon we saw that Jaya was trying to strike the right balance between managing everyone’s expectations with her in-laws while pursuing her goal.
Aided by Vipin Das, the film was shot by Bablu Aju, edited by John Kutty, with music by Ankit Menon.
Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey opens in theaters on October 21.
