Actor Maniesh Paul wrote an emotional note for Virat Kohli after his son got the chance to meet the top cricketer. Maniesh took to Instagram and shared a photo of all three of them, stating that his son is “glued” to cricket matches after watching Virat play. Recently, Virat put on a spectacular performance in the India vs Pakistan match, sparking euphoric celebrations across the country.

Maniesh shared the photo, writing: “This was a very special day for Yuvann my son…he loves Virat…when he heard I was shooting with him he left his football lesson and ran to meet him …i could see the sparkle in these eyes the moment he saw Virat…thanks @virat.kohli my brother, for the warmth…Yuvann will remember this first meeting with his cricket hero forever… he’s glued to the matches if you play even more now. Loved the way he cheered during the India-Pakistan match. That’s your effect, Virat!!! Stay blessed and continue to inspire generations to come.”

Virat Kohli scored 82 runs in 53 balls that helped India win a nerve-wracking match against Pakistan.

Celebrities from various film industries celebrated India’s victory, and Virat’s wife, actor Anushka Sharma, had written an emotional note that read: “You brought sooooo much joy into people’s lives tonight and that too on the eve of Diwali! You are a great great man my love. Your perseverance, determination and faith is astounding!! I have just watched the best game of my life I can say and although our daughter is too small to understand why her mother was dancing in the room and screaming wildly, one day she will understand that her father played his best innings that night , which followed a phase that was tough for him but he came out stronger and wiser than ever before! So proud of you!”
