Shah Rukh Khan’s fans take his birthday party to the theaters singing and dancing while watching DDLJ. Watch indoor videos

On the occasion of Shah Rukh Khan’s 57th birthday, cinema chains PVR, Inox and Cinepolis screened his iconic film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge in 18 cities. Videos and photos of the screenings have surfaced online as fans celebrated the celebrations in theaters. The star’s seasoned admirers went wild as they honored King Khan’s most beloved film by dancing, cheering, whistling and whooping during some of its most popular scenes.

Speaking of the film, Shah Rukh Khan told IANS: “DDLJ has been an extremely special film for me. I am grateful for all the love I have received for the film over the years. Bringing it back on my birthday just makes it more special. Thank you!” Fans labeled the moment a ‘gigantic party’ and also loudly shouted SRK’s rules in the theaters.

DDLJ was first released in 1995. The film also stars Kajol, Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal, Parmeet Sethi, Mandira Bedi and Anupam Kher. Directed by Aditya Chopra, the film won 10 Filmfares and a National Award.

Hundreds of fans also made a pilgrimage to Shah Rukh’s mansion in Mumbai to catch a glimpse of him in person. The star made two public appearances on his big day, waving to the sea of ​​fans in front of his house.

As reported by Box Office India, the film managed to collect Rs 25 Lakhs, although the film was re-released in a limited number of screens. Shah Rukh has interesting projects in the pipeline and will be seen next in Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki.
