Madhya Pradesh Interior Minister Narottam Mishra demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday for comments made by Karnataka Congress leader Satish Jarkiholi, in which he claimed that the word ‘Hindu’ is Persian and has a very dirty meaning. has.

At an event in Nippani on Sunday, the working president of the Karnataka congress Jarkiholi said: “They are talking about the Hindu dharm…this that, where does the Hindu word come from? Is it ours? Responding to Jarkiholi’s statement, MP Home Minister Mishra said while speaking to reporters here that Rahul Gandhi had tried to define ‘Hindu’ and ‘Hindutva’ at a meeting in Rajasthan and now congressional leaders made controversial remarks during are Bharat Jodo Yatra.
