“Tiger is back,” the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena faction said Wednesday after a special court here granted bail to party MP Sanjay Raut in a money laundering case.
Speaking to reporters, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) spokesman Sushma Andhare said that until the party has leaders like Raut, she has nothing to fear.
“The tiger is back,” said Andhare, the deputy leader of the Thackeray-led Sena faction.

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Rohit Pawar tweeted a video of a tiger being released from a cage and tagged it to Raut.
The truth has prevailed, Pawar, whose party is an ally of the Thackeray-led Sena faction, told reporters.
The brother of Sanjay Raut and Vikhroli MLA Sunil Raut said: “The blessings of the people were with Sanjay Raut. He will work for the party again to ensure that the saffron flag unfolds on the Vidhan Sabha.” The truth has prevailed, he added.
The ED had arrested Sanjay Raut for his alleged role in financial irregularities related to the redevelopment of the Patra Chawl (state barracks) in a suburb of Goregaon.

However, the court rejected the ED’s request.
The ED then said it would approach the Bombay Supreme Court to request the cancellation of the bail and an interim injunction to suspend it, even though a lawyer for Raut said they will try to complete the formalities Wednesday night to facilitate his release. . the prison.
