IPL: Ravindra Jadeja likely to stay with Chennai Super Kings | New Zealand in India 2016 News

CHENNAI: Ravindra Jadeja’s feud with Chennai Super Kings management was one of the hottest topics of the last IPL. It’s been six months and after speculation about the all-rounder’s transfer to other franchises, it looks like Jadeja will stay with CSK after all.
Jadeja was angry after being unceremoniously removed from his captaincy which is why he left the team camp in Mumbai after being diagnosed with a rib injury. He deleted all CSK-related posts on his social media accounts, sparking furious speculation.
With November 15, the trading deadline approaching, there have been transfer approaches from other teams, but it seems MS Dhoni is determined to keep the Saurashtra left-handed with CSK. Even a like-for-like replacement like Delhi Capitals’ Axar Patel may not be to Dhoni’s liking as he believes in Jadeja’s net worth.
It is understood that the skipper has made it clear to the management that Jadeja cannot be released. He is an extremely crucial member of the team and Dhoni felt that Jadeja’s influence cannot be taken over by another player, especially with CSK playing their home games in Chennai.
It is true that Jadeja had no contact with the management of CSK for a long time. In between he suffered an injury that kept him out of the Indian World Cup squad and now he is making a comeback.
It will be a fresh start for the 32-year-old after an extended absence and the fact that he has been acquainted with the team for ten years could tip the balance in CSK’s favor.
Jordan, Milne are likely to be released
However, CSK is likely to let go of two foreign pacesetters Chris Jordan and Adam Milne.
