Amid speculation that former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh will merge his PLC party with Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Hooda said Amarinder Singh’s decision will not be appreciated by the people. “I believe this is a wrong decision by Captain Amarinder Singh. Immediately after the farmers’ protest, his decision to join the BJP will not be appreciated by the people. There is no conflict between the leaders of the Haryana Congress,” Deepender Hooda said on Sept. 19.
