Former Punjab CM, Congress Leader Captain Amarinder Singh joined BJP on September 19. He expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Interior Minister and BJP President after joining BJP. “We are grateful to the Prime Minister, the Interior Minister and the BJP President. Punjab is a border state and I have seen our relations with Pakistan deteriorate. Drones are now entering our territory to create complete chaos in Punjab. China is also not far from us. It is our duty to protect our state and the country,” said Captain Amarinder Singh. “Now is the time to join a party that represents the country’s interests,” he added.
