New Delhi:
Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan, waiting for the release of their movie Vikram Vedha, have actively promoted it. In a recent media interaction, Saif Ali Khan spoke about how his wife and actor Kareena Kapoor reacted after watching his film. Speaking to NDTV, Saif Ali Khan said: “She said she was really happy and we were really great. She really liked me, the movie was really good. She said, ‘My god, this is a blockbuster.’ At the end of the movie she said, “What a movie.” She said, ‘I want to see it again and it’s so good, and good luck to you.’ It’s nice because I watch movies with very few people and she’s someone I appreciate, she’s a really good actor. The fact is, she said she really liked it.”
Vikram Vedha, directed by filmmaking duo Gayatri and Pushkar, is slated to release on September 30. The film is the official Hindi remake of the 2017 Tamil film of the same name. Also directed by Gayatri and Pushkar, the film starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.
In the Hindi version of the film, Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan play the lead roles. Meanwhile, actors Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf and Yogita Bihani will also be seen in pivotal roles.
The Hindi version of the film is set in Uttar Pradesh. It is loosely based on the folktale Vikram Beta.
Vikram Vedha is a cat-and-mouse chase thriller between a mobster and a cop.
