Amid the political crisis in Rajasthan, Prime Minister Ashok Gehlot has apologized to Sonia Gandhi and said the Rajasthan MLA’s uprising was unfortunate. While the Congress leadership continues to search for a candidate to support in the election of party chairman, Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot said the party is under the leadership of its leader Sonia Gandhi and that all problems will be resolved soon. Party sources say Ashok Gehlot will not contest the congressional president’s poll. Meanwhile, veteran party leader Digvijaya Singh said he will submit the nomination for Friday’s party presidential election.
