Twitter executives have asked their employees to work harder to meet Elon Musk’s deadlines for change.

However, Elon Musk wants to make some big changes to Twitter and he wants them to be implemented quickly. That’s why Musk has now apparently set a serious deadline for his employees, and if they don’t meet it, they could lose their jobs.
A report from CNBC says executives at Twitter have been advised to work extra hours before meeting Elon Musk’s tight deadline. “Managers at Twitter have instructed some employees to work 12-hour shifts, seven days a week, according to internal communications to meet Musk’s aggressive deadlines,” the report said. “Task completion by the early November deadline is seen as a make-or-break matter for their Twitter career,” he added. It is said that Elon Musk is internally threatening 50 percent layoffs to force the employees to comply with the order.

The report also says employees are being asked to work extra hours without any discussion of “overtime, pay or work time, or about job security.” The engineering team has been given a deadline of early November to meet the requirements or they could lose their jobs.
Musk has plans to revamp Twitter, promote free speech, and make it more accessible to everyone. Musk also put forward the idea of raising the price of the Twitter Blue subscription while also introducing a revised verification process for the blue tick, requiring members to pay the price.
Musk also fired top management at Twitter to enable the changes. Ex-CEO Parag Agarwal was fired along with the management team and engineering team.
